The VP 771G-4AAM-1 is a Magnetic Separation Plate designed to separate magnetic beads from liquid samples. Best used for 384 standard well microplates. Beads are collected in the 4 corners of a square well microplate. This allows the pipet tips to be inserted to the bottom of the wells ensuring maximum aspiration of supernatant and minimizing bead loss. This can be used with manual pipettors on the benchtop, or easily integrated on a liquid handler. Cut away design for robotic gripper access We use 425, powerful 52 MGO Neodymium Iron Boron Magnets which makes magnetic beads separate quickly, and efficiently.
