The VP 772F2M-1 is a magnetic base with a 48 MGO Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) magnet which works with any of the tube racks. Magnetic Bead Separator Tube Racks VP 772F2R-1, VP 772F2R-2, VP 772F2R-3 work with 1.5ml tubes (13mm OD), 15ml tubes (16.7mm OD), 50ml tubes (29mm OD) respectively. The VP 772F2M-1B is a non-magnetic base to hold any of the tube racks. The dimensions of the base follow the SBS microplate convention so it is ready to use on most robotic workstations as shown in the photo to the right.
