Gas Evaporation

We make several autoclavable Gas Evaporation manifolds using stainless steel tubing (channels) of various lengths and polypropylene chambers. These manifolds are resistant to acids, bases and organic solvents. The manifolds have incorporated a variety of registration systems which align the manifold stainless steel tubes to the microplate wells. These manifolds were designed to be used with standard and deep well microplates as well as racks of test tubes. The stainless steel tube spacing will accommodate (20, 24, 48, and 96 well microplates or tubes). Our new Gas Evaporation Manifolds are used to accelerate the evaporation of volatile liquids in test tube blocks. They are designed to work with VWR and Thermolyne style heating blocks and use a system of dowel pins and height adjustment screws with the holes present in the aluminum blocks to adjust the height of the tubes in the test tubes/microplate wells. These manifolds are resistant to acids, bases and organic solvents as the tubes are made from stainless steel and the manifold housing from polypropylene.
